I met Susanne when i was a 15 year old herion addict. I was self entitled and rude. None of this changed her approach. She was always kind,never judgmental and had the compassion of a million people.
When i got of the street and got pregnat she attented my baby shower. She was just so real and humble. Susanne you deserved better and i love you always. Your meorie lives on.
What a loss! Susan was such a kind and decent soul. As best as I could see, she lived her life in a way that was almost completely consistent with her beliefs. The horrible irony of her death is one of the saddest tragedies I can imagine. My condolences to her loved ones and her many friends. This is just so very sad for her and for our community.
I have not seen Susan for many years…we were colleagues during her early years as a PA and I will never forget her excellent sense of humor, which always kept us laughing, her extreme kindness and endless generosity. Although I have not seen her for a while, I have often thought of her and the amazing work I knew she was doing. Her dedication and commitment have been and will always be an inspiration to us all. Susan, you have been taken from this world much too soon and know that you will be greatly missed while your amazing spirit lives on.

Dearest Susan-I will always remember how much you impacted my life when I first met you almost 7 years ago while working with a shared patient. You were a caring physician with such a humanistic approach. You always supported me when I had questions about complex situations and you constantly inspired me. You responded after work hours and even when you were supposed to be on vacation. Your dedication to the quality of life of clients was incredible. I wanted, so badly, to believe it wasn't you. I often think about how you were here with us just a week ago. The community is grieving as we won't be the same without you. I've been saying it over and over: "Susan was everything." Thank you for being an ally and for sharing your talents because you could have done anything you wanted, you could have worked anywhere but you knew you were needed. Dear Susan, Thanks for being such an amazing mentor/friend/ally in life. I love you so much. I hope that wherever you are, that you are in peace and not suffering. I miss you so much and don't know what to do with myself at times, but I know that if you were here, that you would be lovingly comforting me. I will never forget our shared love of dogs together, and hope that you have dogs all around you now. You have forever instilled in me wonderful values of love, compassion, equanimity and kindness. I feel extremely blessed to have crossed paths with you in life. I love you and will never ever forget you.
