I lived next door to her great aunt, who I knew as Ms. Brown, for 17 years on Dover Street. After we moved away, and Ms. Brown passed, I still saw Sophia regularly as I walked through the neighborhood. She remembered my daughter as a toddler learning to walk on the street. I shared holiday cards every year. Sophia was so gracious and so proud of her daughters. She will be missed.
