Siu Wah Wong's Obituary
Mrs. Siu Wah Wong was born on October 23, 1921 in Taishan, Guangdong, China. In 1957, she left China with her children and settled down in Hong Kong. The following year, she was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord of Savior. In 1968, she left Hong Kong and immigrated to New York City in USA. Then, in 1997, she moved to Oakland, California and became an active member of the Salvation Army at Oakland Chinatown Corps. Throughout her life, she loved God and cared for many people. She was often compassionate to every one of her many friends. It was always her that all her family and friends would know Jesus and receive eternal life from Him.
Mrs. Wong went home to be with the Lord on April 27, 2013 at the age of 91. She is now resting in His arm and exalting in the glorious radiance of His presence. She is survived by her son, George; her daughters, Yuet Kuen, Yuet Sim, Yuet Chi and Rose; her Godson, Young Tat; 9 grandsons; 8 great grandsons and 5 great grand daughters. May God comfort the family and friends. May He sustain you and strengthen you as we remember her.
