Shu Chang King's Obituary
KING, Shu Chang., beloved mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother and wife of late L. F. King, passed away peacefully in Oakland on July 2, 2009. 90 years of age and a native of China, she had lived in Oakland for the past 25 years. She was loved by her extended family and friends.She is survived by her children, John King, Jadia Wu, Delphine Han, David King and Amy King-Grondahl; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Y. C. Chang of Hong Kong.Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, between 6:00 ' 8:00 p.m. or memorial services on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at theChapel of The Chimes Funeral Home, 4499 Piedmont Ave., Oakland, with an interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 5000 Piedmont Ave., Oakland.Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the Asian Health Service, Development Depart-ment, 818 Webster St., Oakland, CA 94607.Link: www.ahschc.org.
