I'm so sorry to hear that Shigeki passed. I wish I had been able to meet him to get to know him better. I spoke on the phone with him in 2015 after my mother, Keiko Mizuhara (nee Yamamoto) had passed to invite him to the funeral and to ask about the Sugiyama family tree. My mother's father (Shigeru Yamamoto) was Shigeki's mother's brother, so she and Shigeki were 2nd cousins. He sounds like he was a great man and I wish I could have known him.
