Sherman S. Welpton III's Obituary
Sherman Seymour Welpton, III., age 79, born June 6, 1934 in Omaha, Neb; died Feb 16, 2014 in Hayward. He is survived by his wife Ruth and his children Blake Welpton of Oakland, CA and Marie Elizabeth Feldhaus of Spokane; 6 grandchildren and two great grand children and his brother, Dr. Douglas Welpton of Clearwater, FL and sister, Virginia Ferguson of San Diego. Formerly employed as a Financial Advisor for 45 years, his last firm was Moors and Cabot.
Organizations he was most proud to belong to: The Bohemian Club, The Guardsmen, Easter Seals and the Dolphin Southend Runners Club. Sherman was also a proud member of his fraternity Phi Gamma Delta.
Service will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes 4499 Piedmont Ave., Oakland CA 94611 on March 2 (Sunday) at 11:00 AM.
