Born premature on April 25, 1947 in Chicago, IL, Sheila was a Taurus and a fighter. She was the fifth of six children born to Queen Toya Louise Prewitt. Her father was General Eddie Walker. She married, and later divorced, Bruce Elliott Wilson with whom she had two sons, Brian Edward and Steven Elliott. She loved her grandsons and the family and friends she kept close. She enjoyed the bible, shopping for clothes, bags and shoes, good food, live music, theater, African-American art and history, laughing, wine, mojitos, and margaritas. She found her professional calling a few years before retirement as an advocate for victims of domestic violence. She left us suddenly in her home on January 3, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Jimmy and Johnny. She is survived by Brian, Steven, his wife (Jessica), their children (Tyler Michael and Langston Edward), her sisters (Sue Jean Hughes, Claudette McDonald, and Terry Lynn Ingram), and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
