Sheila Ruth Gault's Obituary
GAULT, SHEILA R. CHRISTIESheila R. Christie Gault passed away in Alameda on August 12th, 2010 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease at the age of 74. She was a resident of Oakland, Ca. Predeceased by her beloved husband Robert T. Gault. Loving mother of Robert T. Gault, Jr. and Pamela Rubesa. Mother-in-Law of Michael Rubesa. Grandmother of Sarah, George, Courtney, and Robert. Sister of Jean Christie and Nancy Eikeberg. Sister-in-law of Karl Eikeberg, Doris Prince, Evert Prince, Jean Gault, and the late William Gault and Ralph D'Agostino. Daughter of the late George and Ruth Christie. Aunt to Christie Sulaiman, Carolyn Eikeberg, Kathy Crimmins, Debbie Ray, Michael D'Agostino, Jeff D'Agostino, and Mele White. Sheila was a second generation native of Oakland. She graduated from Oakland High School in 1954. A retired employee of the State of California Disability Insurance Department. Sheila loved camping, square dancing, reading, walking around Lake Merritt and lap swimming with her sisters. A Memorial service will be held on August 21st, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of the Chimes, 4409 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA 94611. An on-site reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.
