Sharon Williams' Obituary
The Obituary Sharon " Nay Nay" Williams
Sharon Renee Williams, 54, of Oakland, CA passed away on November 30th 2024, peacefully in her sleep.
Renee was born January 20th in San Francisco but raised in Oakland, the youngest daughter of Lizzie Brown and Ben Williams.
Renee graduated from Castlemont in 1988, then went on to Grambling University, earning a degree in Law. In the midst of getting her degree she was a very active student, pledging to a sorority, making new friends, and participating in homecomings. She then went on to chase her Doctorate.
Sharon worked as a Legal assistant for the Public Defenders office of Contra Costa County for a little over a decade. She was a jack of all trades, a workaholic, becoming her own Boss with her business Justice Files LLC and also had PLENTY of aspirations for a family business. Being very connected in her business life appointed her THE great resource for any and everyone to call on.
At a young age she had a passion for Mixed Martial arts, training at the age of 7 y/o. She now stands as a 5th degree Black belt in Kajukenbo. For 20 years she trained the youth at the San Leandro Boys club. Sharon was a tough cookie, but just an all around sweet caring soul. She also got down in the kitchen cooking all of her favorite meals.
Always saying "Why would I go out to eat when I can make it at home??!". Infact, Nay Nay had a joint venture with her God sister called, Bon Appetit. They served plates via delivery and pop ups while also feeding the homeless. Family was above everything for her, bringing them together with her meals, following in her Mother's footsteps. Where she was- was HOME. She was very dedicated to her faith, baptized as a Christian within the church.
Remaining to cherish Renee's memory are Siblings, Kit Williams and Percy Titsworth; Nephews, Sonny and Tony Titsworth, Carnell Williams, Eric Johnson, and Austin Williams; Nieces, Danielle Mathias, Chrystina Richardson, and Ariel Jenkins; Great nephews and nieces, Joseph, Khalil, Aleayah, Carnell Jr., Amari, Aniyah, Jamar, Aaliyah, Iris, Ricky, Ty, Maddix, Elijah, Josiah; God Children, Brookelyn Hope and L'Oréal Faith. God sisters, Bertha Alexander and Lisa Smith; Host of Extended Family and Friends.
