To the Alva's: I knew Sergio while at UCSC and frequently had the pleasure of being beaten badly on the basketball court by him. Sergio was blessed in so many areas, there is little doubt he was on his way to accomplish greatness. Few exhibit great quality of character as Sergio did and he will be sorely missed by many. I was a former classmate of Sergio while attending HRS. He had a quiet demeanor and had one of the most genuinely kind hearts on campus; and I'm glad to see he took that into his post-grad endeavors.
