In 1987, she moved to the United States, where she nurtured her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren, sharing stories and lessons about their culture, faith, and Sikhism,
thus becoming a living link to their heritage.
A true lover of life, she found joy in cooking and gardening. Her kitchen was a place of
warmth and togetherness, where every meal she prepared was an act of love that
nourished both body and soul.
