Ron and Family,I just found out today, 7-20, of Sandy's passing. I had dropped a note by the house wondering why her phone was disconnected. On our many walks together on the ridge, she shared anecdotes of the grandkids and how they gave her so much pleasure with each little milestone they reached and how each one was so special to her; her joy of reconnecting with Ron after knowing him in high school and finding their way back to each other years down the road and how they were meant to be together and how complete she felt; her girls and their interests and ups and downs in life, how proud she was of each one. She always spoke of her love and fondness for parents and concern how each was doing in their senior years. She was an extremely caring and loving individual with an infectious laugh. We would ponder the mysteries of life on the ridge and enjoy Lola romping through the acres, running at high speeds. She had a deep spirituality which she shared, but more importantly, I bore witness to her walking her talk. In my sadness of learning of her passing, I hear her laugh in my head. The light has been expunged on an ordinary person who led a simple life in an extraordinary way.My deepest condolences to you all, but know that she'll be waiting for you … with a big grin and open arms. With deepest sympathy,Chris
