Ryan Michael Kahea Burgo March 6th, 1990-March 7th, 2025
Ryan Michael Kahea Burgo, a husband, beloved son, brother and friend passed away on March 7th, 2025, at the age of 35. He was born in Alameda, California and was a proud native of the Bay Area whose kindness and generosity touched countless lives. He had a way making you feel loved and cared for.
Ryan was a man who would help anyone in need, a true beacon of love and light. There are no words to fully capture how deeply he was loved by all. His warn heart and selfless spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
From the age of 16, Ryan worked side by side with his father at the family business, forging not only a career but a lifelong bond built on hard work and shared purpose.
Ryan’s passions ran deep. Ryan had an enduring love for adventure, automobiles, boating, camping, fishing and snowboarding in the Sierra’s. Whether taking family and friends on unforgettable boating trips or immersing himself in the world of cars, Ryan’s enthusiasm was infectious. His love for adventure took him and his wife, Lila, on incredible journeys around the world, creating memories filled with laughter and love.
Ryans’ compassion extended to all living beings, as demonstrated by his undeniable devotion to his animals. He adopted and cared for several cats and dogs, showering them with the same affection he gave everyone in his life. Ryan loved to make his family and friends laugh. His unforgettable sense of humor would bring hearty laughter and smiles.
Above all, Ryan cherished life and the people he held dear. Ryan was known for his beautiful warm loving bear hugs, a signature that left his love wrapped around those he embraced. He is survived by his parents, Randall and Robin, his sister, Jessica; his loving wife, Lila; his cherished family, friends and fur babies. Ryan’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and a life lived to the fullest.
A celebration of Ryan’s life will be held at Chapel of Chimes Funeral Home in the Chimes Chapel Saturday, April 12th, at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring and remembering this remarkable man.
