Miss Ruth was an amazing force to be reckoned with. She could handle just about any amount of what seemed like possible chaos, laugh and then offer guidance. She built character in many of us. Thank you for your leadership Ruth. May you rest in heavenly peace. Watch over us . We need it..
The last time I saw Ruth was at a work reunion party here in Oakland on October 29, 2017.
As always she was lively, funny, warm and much beloved by everyone in attendance.
I only just heard of her passing today. My condolences and deepest sympathy to Ruth's family who she adored with all her heart. It was a pleasure and an honor to know Ruth.
