Rose C. Wong Born in Oakland on May 8, 1922; passed away peacefully with family in San Francisco on April 11, 2007. Beloved wife Selman Wong, beloved mother of Virginia Hall, Stephen and Martin Wong, Beloved mother-in-law to Andrew Hall and Alyssa Wong, Grandmother to Kathryn Hall, Jennifer and Dan Gannon, and Lian Wong, loving companion to Stanley Louie. Beloved sister to William and Bertha Chew, Dewey and Alma Wong, Lawrence and Ruth Leong, Wyman and Frances Chew, and Dewey and Shirley Chew. Auntie to many nephews and nieces and loving friend to many. A retired employee of Seiko Watches and a member of the Wong Family Association and Wu Yi Benevolent Association. Friends are invited to visit at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland on Monday, April 16, 2007 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM and attend funeral services at Chapel of the Chimes on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 10:00AM.
