Rochelle Taylor's Obituary
Rochelle Nicole Thomas was born on December 11, 1979 in Cleveland. OH to Fred and Valerie Thomas.
Rochelle was raised in Atlanta, GA after leaving Cleveland in 1983. She enjoyed spending time with her siblings, cousins, and friends. She realized early on that education was important to her and she went on the earn her high school diploma from Clarkston high school, her Bachelor's degree from Albany State University, and her Masters degree from Troy University.
She pledged Delta Sigma Theta sorority Inc. Berkeley Area Alumni Chapter in 2010 of which she was a beloved member.
Rochelle met her husband Geechi Taylor in 2009 doing what she loved to do, travel! They met on an airplane and immediately fell in love. After getting married in 2013, their love blossomed. Their love story is truly one for the times. Their love took them places that neither could have imagined while growing up. Their love created 2 beautiful babies along with 2 loved pups.
Rochelle was passionate about family, travel, and business. As such, she created legacies and memories doing them all. Rochelle created her own business, Chal'e Gardens. Chal'e Gardens Event Venue was created in 2012 in Riverdale, GA and has since grown and expanded beyond even her imagination. The legacy she created will continue for her children.
If you knew Rochelle you knew when she wasn't working or loving on her babies she was on a beach, airplane, hot air balloon, or sitting on a camel in front of the pyramids. She lived for a life of love, family, and travel.
Her legacy will continue to live on through her family and friends. She leaves behind a devoted and loving husband, Geechi Taylor, Daughter Briella Taylor, and Son Jasiri Taylor. She also leaves behind 2 loving parents Fred Thomas and Valerie Thomas to cherish her memory. Siblings Cynthia Kimbrough, Delisa Ozolio(Jude), Zendrick Cunningham(Tiffany), Labarron Thomas, Maurice Green, Letricia Thomas(Dietric), Melissa Green, Meagan Hobson(Jeffrey),and Camille Thomas. In addition to her immediate family, Rochelle is loved in abundance by her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, best friends, roommates, and former colleagues. She will be deeply missed and continuously loved.
