Robert (Bob) Thompson's Obituary
Bob grew up in the fifties in Richmond, CA. His love for the outdoors included many hikes around “Wildcat Canyon”.
He spent considerable time helping his dad Jim and his Uncle Archie work on the Monaco. The Monaco was a salmon fishing boat docked in Tamales Bay. It was a dream and they put the time and work in to make it happen.
Bob very much enjoyed road trips with his family. One of the more notable trips included a trip to Alaska on the Alcan Highway – still a gravel road in those days. Many more people talked of the trip than actually made it.
Camping and hiking with his nephews, nieces and cousins was enjoyable and fun to him, along with teaching them to bait and fish.
Bob leaves behind his loving mother Evelyn and devoted sisters Carolyn and Nancy.
Bob will be missed by all a very gentleman he was…God Bless
