Robert H. Schuldt's Obituary
Robert Henry Schuldt passed away peacefully at his home in Antioch, California on Thursday November 20, 2013.
Robert was born June 28, 1935 in Martinez, California. He graduated from Mt. Diablo High School in 1953, served in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1959, and after 32 years of employment, retired from Union Carbide Corporation in 1992.
Robert was a long-time SF Giants fan, and regularly visited their spring training camp. He loved playing tennis, and enjoyed traveling, working in his yards, researching Genealogy, and spending time with family and friends. Robert was a member of the Antioch Church on The Rock where he took pleasure in regularly attending Sunday services.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Gladys Schuldt, and Great Nephew Steven Michael Blomseth. He is survived by his sister Barbara Brown from Northern California and an aunt, Myrtle Hopper of Concord; nieces Susan West (Philip) of Antioch, Karrie Miller of Granite Bay, and nephew Duane Blomseth of Antioch; in addition to six great nieces and nephews, and seven great-great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland, California on Friday, November 29 at 11 am, following visitation from 10-11 am.
Memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association.
