Richie also had a younger sister he called Bunny(Marcey Ayers of Cedar Hill, Mo.) Who loved and misses him.God bless.
I have many happy memories of our childhood growing up on Pine Street in Pompton Lakes, NJ. We served together as altar boys at St Mary’s Church and worked together one summer at the country club in Wayne. Our friendship continued into our adult years. He was a true friend. Rest in Peace, Rich.
Rich and I became friends as Freshmen at St. Mary’s. We remained friends ever since. I have always remembered Rich as a kind, soft-spoken man. He always enjoyed our “class reunion” type luncheons, mostly at the Pompton Queen. His love of chocolate pudding with whipped cream and a cherry on top was, always, the perfect ending to his lunch. He will always be in my memory.
My sincere sympathy to Rich’s family. I graduated high school with Rich and met him and a few others at the Pompton Queen Diner monthly. Sincere regards Joan Norris Feldner
