Richard Lee Feeney “Poppa” May 30, 1933 – Mar. 25, 2012 Resident of San Leandro, CA Born in Oakland, CA, to Jesse Monroe Feeney of Illinois and Gertrude Feeney of Norway. He is survived by his ex-wife, Nancy Lee Feeney; Proud father of his son, Richard Monroe Feeney; his daughter Janay Claire Feeney; his daughter Jennifer Lyn Feeney; and his daughter-in-law Theresa Valle Acree. Poppa to grandson Kyle Robert David Feeney; to grandson Kory James Monroe Feeney; and to his granddaughter Jessica Claire Feeney. Was loved by many friends. Richard served in the US Navy. He also had a long career in the printing industry. He was an avid Amtrak traveler. He was also an active member of the SPCA. Cremation services held at Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland, CA. He will be laid to rest in June 2012 following a memorial service to be held at the Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland, CA. Date and time to be determined.
