Raymond W. Choy Jan. 24, 1932 – May 31, 2013 Resident of San Lorenzo A longtime bay area resident, passed away peacefully on May 31st at his San Lorenzo home. Raymond was born in Oakland, CA to Fung Choy & Yin Chin Ho. He grew up in several cities of the bay area. Raymond was 1 of 8 boys. He served in the U.S. Marines & the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Raymond worked for EBMUD for 35+ years up to retirement. Once retired, Raymond enjoyed traveling the world. Raymond & Carolyn Choy had 3 boys: Raymond Jr, Ted, & Langley. In addition to his own family, Raymond is survived by two daughter-in-laws, Lesley & Kirsten, & grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan, Mikala, & Connor. Raymond will be greatly missed. Friends & family are invited to Raymond’s memorial on Sat., July 6th, 2013 at 10am at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave., Oakland, CA 94611.
