Dear Gowri, Shiranthana, Raveena, Pallav, Amit and children.
We are saddened by the passing of Ravi. Ravi was a caring person not only to his family and relatives; he is also very caring of his friends and the Sri Lankan community.
In 2012, when Ravi came to know that my husband Rabi was going to need an emergency brain surgery, he immediately called Dr. Jeffrey Randall a renowned neurosurgeon at the Eden Hospital and alerted him about Rabi’s condition. Before Rabi’s ambulance arrived at the Eden Emergency, Dr. Randall has just finished his las surgery for the day; was waiting for Rabi’s ambulance. He has already scheduled Rabi’s surgery as his first surgery for the next day. Every day I would see Ravi at the ICU going through Rabi’s chart to see his progress. You are not only a heart surgeon; you also have a caring heart in you. Ravi was so proud of his daughters’ achievements.
Thank you Ravi, May your soul Rest in Peace.
