Ralph Benjamin Olsson's Obituary
Ralph Olsson was a beloved brother, uncle, husband and friend. Born in San Francisco, CA he was raised in Oakland, CA where he lived most of his life. A WW II veteran, he was a dedicated firefighter for the Oakland Fire Department for 33 years and an active member in the Lutheran church. Ralph will be remembered by family and friends for his steadfast, faithfulness to his family and friends. Ralph is survived by his brother, Kenneth Olsson of San Leandro, CA, his nephew and wife, Don and Judy Olsson of Bakersfield, CA, his nephew-in-law, Gordon Davy, 8 grandnieces and nephews and 6 great grandnieces and nephews throughout California and Maryland. He was predeceased by his sister, Erma Olsson and his niece, Charlene Davy, both going to the Lord in March 2006, as well as his wife, Marilyn, and his brother, Justus Olsson. Ralph will be deeply missed by all who knew this gentle and kind man. A memorial service in celebration of Ralph’s life will be held on July 8, 2006 at 1 p.m. at United Lutheran Church, 8800 Fontaine St., Oakland, CA.
