Jane was a member of the Wellstone Democratic Renewal Club. That's where I met and struck up an acquaintance with her. I had looked forward to seeing her again after the pandemic. Not to happen.

What a lovely obituary. I have been Jane's friend for all of her life since I'm older than she is and learned quite a bit about her schooling and some of her activities from reading about her life. Jane was not one to brag and talk about herself but to encourage others to make the world a better place especially through education and working with children I greatly admired and respected Jane and appreciated how she raised her children to be such giving and educated people. She made sure her parents attitude on life was continued through her and through her progeny, which was a great way to respect the values of her ancestors and make life better especially for those who have been trod upon. She was a great lady and a wonderful friend and I will miss her. Charlotte
