Queen Victoria Holliday's Obituary
Queen Victoria Holliday was born on February 3, 1931 in Simmesport, Louisiana and passed away peacefully on July 24, 2016 in Stockton, California. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Arthur Albert Holliday, Sr.; Beloved mother of RIta Holliday, Clifton Holliday, and Ronald Holliday; preceded in death by her loving son, Arthur Holliday, Jr.; Loving grandmother of seven, great-grandmother of 5, and great great-grandmother of 1. Also survived by her Sister, Madeline Humbles; Daughter, Rita; Sons, Clifton and Ronald and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She was a housekeeper for Mr. & Mrs. Cohn and Mr. & Mrs. Figenburg for many years. Before her health deteriorated, Queen was an active Member and Minister at Mt. Zion Spiritual Temple for many years and served hot meals to feed the homeless and needy and also provided them with clothes.
Funeral Service, August 3, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Chimes Chapel, at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA 94611.
Burial will be at Rolling Hills Memorial Park, 4100 Hilltop Drive, Richmond, CA 94803.
Reception to follow in the Memories Room, Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA 94611.
