Just like Sue, I met Phyllis while a rookie at Wright & Company. We sat across from each other and seemed to talk the day away. When it was Monday Tour, she and I would get into Maxine's blue Cadillac and walk our ways through peninsula homes, having some laughs and challenging each other on price. Phyllis was the leader, always with something brilliant to say along with her contagious smile. I learned to love real estate thanks to her. She was a natural.
Her family was always most important to her. She made sure everyone got together and loved her children and grandchildren. No matter what was going on, she and Lane were there to support and help whatever that took.
Speaking of Lane, he was her hero. Devoted to her needs and desires, always wanting to make sure that Phyllis was happy. She survived as long as she did because she knew he was never far away and would never let her down. They were a great team - lovers, partners and friends.
No matter how hard she played the game of business, she was a softy at heart and had a soft sentimental side to her that drew us in and turned us into fans.
My children loved her too and we all have special memories of time with Phyllis in her beautiful home in the valley. We will miss her.
The angels will take care of her now and those she left behind have loads of good stories to keep her in our hearts.
Fare thee well my friend,
Ruth Meehan
