Phillip James Feder, Sr. February 8, 1945-October 17, 2016 (San Leandro, California). Phillip passed away at home with his family by his side. He was born in Oakland, California. Beloved son of Phyllis and George Merrill Feder. Phillip is an Army Veteran who served in the Viet Nam War. He worked and retired from the Alameda Naval Air Station. During his time in Viet Nam, he met and married his beloved wife of 47 years, Lien. Phillip is preceded in death by his father, George Merrill Feder and brother, Tom Feder (Maggie). Phillip is survived by his mother, Phyllis Feder McCoy (99), loving wife, Lien Thi Kim Do’ Feder; His two beloved children and their spouses, Phillip Feder, Jr. (Monica Aquino Feder) and Kathleen Feder (Ken Gomes); His seven loving grandchildren, Vanessa Feder (Michael Fragoso), Phillip Feder III, Anthony Washington (Cayla Perez), Dominic Gomes, Kaylie Gomes, Krystie Gomes and Brionna Gomes; His beloved two great-grandchildren, Aiyana Fragoso and Shawn Washington; His loving brothers, George Feder (Claudine), and David Feder (Sharon) and beloved sisters, Marilyn Naylor (Rick) and Susie Powderly (John). He leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and longtime friends who considered him their father, uncle and grandpa. Phillip will be greatly missed by many and all.
