Peter Lipscombe's Obituary
Lipscombe, Peter: Suddenly left us after scoring the winning goal in a playoff hockey game, Sunday, September 28. Peter was born in Christchurch, New Zealand, October 16, 1958. He moved to the US in 1998 after becoming a registered nurse. He was the captain of three Chunder hockey teams. Peter lived life to the fullest with no regrets. He was known for his great sense of humor, his love for fine wines. He will be missed with deepest love by his father Bill, sister Christine, brother David, nephew Joe, special friend Jill, his Chunder teammates, colleagues of Menlo Park Surgical Hospital and many friends. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held Thursday, October 2, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA. We will retire his jersey afterwards at the Hockey Rink.
