Paula was a lovely and loving person. She had such a wonderful smile and was so warm and welcoming. She is part of a wonderful family and Rose and I enjoyed the times we spent with her, her brothers and sisters and parents at East Oakland Deliverance Center. PJ aka Paula Gardley-Barnes my sister/friend for over 40 years! This mighty woman of God always "saved" me from my total trust in others: specifically my other friend/sister Bumbo Irma Gardley! I enjoyed her wisdom to the point of asking What would PJ do?'. Her 60th Birthday party showed her wisdom in giving and sharing our love with those we lovw and her; while she was still here feeling good and looking good!Her Man of God Early Barnes accepted me as a SISTER even when I would show up on their door stop un announced, just to say hi, you been late Early! He would just smile and say 'come on in, it's been a while". My memories are great and many. Her show of live and concern for others continues to speak volumes. Although she will be missed; her legacy will live on. I love you PJ
