Paul Tracy Easton's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Paul Tracy
Paul Tracy, proud veteran and dedicated postal worker, passed away tragically during surgery due to an accident. His departure on April 6, 2024 has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his memory will forever be cherished.
Born to Irma Easton and George Mayfield, Paul was the youngest son in the family. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Calvin Easton, Lois Parker, Georgia Ann Campbell and his spouse, Donella Jones, who undoubtedly held a special place in his heart.
After graduating from high school, Paul answered the call of duty and enlisted in the military, where he served his country with honor and dedication. Following his discharge, he embarked on a career with the postal system, where his commitment to service continued to shine.
Paul's family meant everything to him. Though he did not have children of his own, he poured his love and care into his nieces and nephews, leaving a lasting impact on their lives. His surviving sister, Lafern Gregory, and brother, Charles Mayfield, will deeply feel his absence, yet they find solace in the memories they shared with him.
In addition to his immediate family, Paul leaves behind a network of relatives, friends, and colleagues whose lives he touched with his kindness, warmth, and unwavering support.
While we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the life of Paul Tracy, a man of persistence and resilience. May his spirit continue to inspire us, and may his legacy live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Veterans Foundation (https://nvf.org/veterans-donations/) in Paul's honor.
Forever in our hearts, Paul Tracy will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace, reunited with his loved ones who have gone before him.
