Patricia Vance Frumenti's Obituary
Patricia Vance Frumenti Oct. 29, 1918 – Sept. 27, 2013 Bay Area Resident Pat (Patsy) Frumenti was born in San Francisco, the only daughter of Charles Albert Vance and Edith Hoefler Vance. Pat is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Vance, husband, Frank, and brothers, Albert Vance, Louis Vance, Jack Vance and David Vance. Pat married Frank Frumenti in Pittsburg, CA in 1936. They had 4 children, Salvatore Frumenti, Janet Steinberg, Patricia Park and Vance Frumenti She is survived by her 3 children, 4 grandchildren, Michael Erickson, Sara Frumenti, Justin Frumenti, and Andrea Frumenti and a great Grandson Zackery Beamer. Pat grew up on a ranch in Oakley, CA. Where she discovered her love of the outdoors and the freedom of living in the country. Most of her adult life was spent living in Pinole, CA where she enjoyed gardening and hiking the areas around her home. Pat was a longtime member of the Contra Costa Hills Hiking Club and spent countless hours roaming the Bay Area with the Club. She was also a fearless traveler who visited exotic and faraway places around the globe. Pat also had a passion for books and reading and volunteered countless hours to Pinole Valley Public Library. In 2000 Pat moved to Salem Lutheran Home in Oakland. She quickly became an integral part of Salem’s daily life helping wherever needed with enthusiasm and a cheerful demeanor. Pat died peacefully in her sleep. No service is planned.
