Patricia Eaton Gadison's Obituary
Patricia was one of four children raised in the Ocean View area of San Francisco. She lost her courageous battle with a prolonged illness and passed away peacefully at UCSF Medical Center. She is survived by her daughter Amber Gadison; parents Mary Fields and Joseph Eaton Jr.; siblings, Joseph Timothy Eaton III, Adrienne Narcisse, Cheryl Eaton and John Eaton, as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, sister and brother in law and friends across the country.
Patricia, commonly known by friends and peers as Pat, received an AA degree from San Francisco City College and then continued her education at San Francisco State University, graduating with honors in 1982 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing.
After graduating from San Francisco State, Pat spent most of her professional career working in pharmaceutical & medical sales. She worked for Wallace Laboratories, Johnson & Johnson and Abbott Diabetes. While in sales she received recognition and awards for being “Top in Sales”. She didn’t limit her business endeavors there, for a period of time she was also a real estate appraiser.
Patricia’s signature was her magnificent smile that could light up even the darkest room. Her passions outside of work were spending quality time with family and friends, exercising and traveling. Pat’s most cherished accomplishment was the birth of her daughter, Amber. She never stopped speaking on how she had matured into a smart, beautiful, independent young lady. Pat was thoughtful, optimistic, kind and rarely met a person she didn’t like. As a friend recently shared, “Pat was the kind of person who always smiled and engaged even if she did not know you; she simply loved people.” Pat was beautiful inside and out. Even in her final days, her captivating charisma brightened the lives of every person she interacted with.
Pat could be described as a fighter, a lover, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a mentor, and a champion for those that could not champion themselves. Anyone who knew Pat was blessed to have spent time with her. Rest in Peace our BEAUTIFUL CHAMPION.
