Patricia Estell Puckett's Obituary
Patricia Estell Puckett was born on February 11, 1940 in Beaumont Texas to John Compton and Leavy Perkins. Patricia was an only child and was raised to believe and trust in god. She attended church her family’s church until the age of 4 when they decided to come to California and start a new life. They traveled by train which was so overcrowded that they had to sit on their suitcases the entire trip. The family settled down in Oakland, CA where she attended elementary and middle school. She graduated from Poly-Tech High school in west Oakland.
She later started working at the Presidio Army Base in San Francisco, CA. She retired after 25 years of service as an Assistant to the Inspector General. She was married twice first to U.S Marine John Green and from this union they were blessed with two children, Paula Green and a few years later Lloyd Green. Her last and final marriage was to Frank H. Puckett, an electrician and business owner and they had a daughter,
Carla Puckett.

Ms. Leavy Perkins, three children: Paula Green-Silver, Lloyd Green and Carla Puckett-Ortiz, four grandchildren, Kelsey Jones, Jamila Thomas, Dante Green and Myah Ortiz, two great grandchildren, Brittney McCray and Kiera Jones, Aunts and Uncles, Son-in-Laws, Edward Ortiz and George Silver, childhood best friend Envie Watson, good friends Dottie White, Dana McDaniel and Maria Haverstock, nurses, doctors, social workers and everyone else whose life was touched by this wonderful woman.
