I have known Tillie since I was a teenager in the local congregation. She was always cheerful and hospitable. I enjoyed her company very much. In the 1980's the two of us packed up my blue Honda Civic hatchback and drove to South Dakota to do unassigned territory. We were like David and Jonathan or Ruth and Naomi. We had so much fun!! Over the years, we always reminisced about our experiences in this assignment. It is definitely a theocratic highlight for me; and being with Tillie made it amazing, wonderful, and stress-free.Philea,Belinda RectorP.S. The new world (Paradise on earth) is very near. Tillie was a very beautiful person inside and out. A true beacon of light. Always smiling and chipper. A very dedicated servant of Jehovah. To the end. I always say…if I could depend on anyone to consistently be warm, kind, and inviting.. always greet me with a lovely smile.. it was our beautiful Sister Tillie Cooper. My dearest Sister Cooper will be sorely missed. She was a true beacon of light. Always kind and loving. Followed in the footsteps of her Great Exemplar Jehovah God very closely. I too look forward to seeing Tillie again. She was inspirational in not only a spiritual way but in every other avenue of life. As an example, she was the BEST Avon lady ever and this when I met her when she was in her 80's. She took me back to a place where no matter what area of life you engage in you do so with excellence in mind. It's going to be exciting to see her again and get to know her as a young Otillia Cooper!

We are going to miss Tillie so much! We have shared some precious moments with her. One of our fondest memories is she(age 93) and our daughter, Nyla(age4), at a door in field service together. We look forward to seeing our dear sister again in the very near resurrection.
