Odessa Mosley's Obituary
Odessa Mosley Sunset Oct. 1, 2011 Resident of Suisun Odessa Mosley of Suisun, CA, passed away on Sat., Oct. 1, 2011 at Kaiser Hospital in Vacaville, CA of Cardiac Complications. She was born in Carthage, Texas. Upon graduation from High School, Odessa moved to California where she became a Nurse. She later worked as a Teacher’s Assistant for the Berkeley Unified School District. Odessa was a devoted member of The Berkeley Mount Zion Baptist Church. She worked with the Berkeley Rehabilitation program where she enjoyed volunteering with her husband. Odessa enjoyed her home and spent time gardening, traveling and enjoying life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Linner and Edmond Walton, her brothers, Willard, Alamo, Edward, and her sisters, Elizabeth and Ester. Odessa leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 37 years, Willie Mosley; son Pierre Mosley (Elin), step-son Adil Alatiq (Kowser); grandchildren, Landon, Sage, Ibrahim, Amel, Ayaa, and Reem; her sisters, Thelma Walton McGruder and Bernice Walton, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
