Nobuko Okamoto's Obituary
Nobuko Okamoto of Alameda died peacefully on April 1,2018 at the age of 97. She was a dedicated member of the Buddhist Temple of Alameda. She lived Japanese culture through cooking, flower arrangement, paper arts and sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Tomio Okamoto, who died in 2008. Nobuko is survived by her children Nancy,Dorothy and Thomas (Ruby) and grandchildren Lauren and James. A memorial service will be held on Friday May 4, 2018 at 2PM at the Buddhist Temple of Alameda, 2325 Pacific Avenue, Alameda 94501. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Buddhist Temple of Alameda or to your favorite charity.
