Nemon Wade's Obituary
Nemon Lamont Wade of Oakland, California passed away at the age of 53, on Monday
December 18th 2023, in his home. His family is shocked and deeply saddened by his loss.
Nemon was born on May 17, 1970, to Anjeanette (Gilmer) Dixon and Nemon David Wade in Oakland, California.
Nemon graduated from Oakland Technical Highschool in 1988. He attended MIT
Computer College and received a computer tech certification. He then went on to start a career of seven years at the University of Berkley in the Administration building of downtown Oakland.
Nemon also had a passion for working with hand tools in the construction industry. He specialized in the remodeling phase of the business. Partnering with his brother Andre Agee to remodel and sell homes. They traveled from California to Virginia and Houston on several real estate ventures. With hard work and determination, Nemon succeeded in anything he put his mind to.
Nemon along with his mother and brother began attending the Market Street Seventh Day Adventist Church when he was a young boy. He was involved in the ministry department as he grew deeper into his faith. He was dedicated to his church and enjoyed fellowshipping with members.
Nemon loved his family and friends and always made sure his mother was taken care of.
Those who knew him and loved him, will miss him immensely.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rosa Easley and Albert Gilmer.
He leaves behind his immediate family, a loving mother Anjeanette (Gilmer) Dixon, father Nemon David Wade, brother Andre Agee, son Dana Wade and spouse Erica Wade, son Dajohn Wade, son Neil Wade, twin daughters Nemeka and Nemesha Wade, grandson Samuel Wade, and many other family members and friends.
