Nancy Wong Fung's Obituary
Fung, Nancy Gan Gan – Born May 16, 1929, in Toisan, Canton, China, peacefully passed away from lung cancer on October 8, 2004 at her home in Oakland, California surrounded by family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Waymond Fung. She was the loving mother of Wesley and Eric, beloved grandmother to Aaron, Alan, Lani, and Lotus, and gracious mother-in-law to May and Diana. She is also survived by her younger brother Herbert Wong, and her younger sisters Joanne Gee and Rosalyn Huey, and their families.Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2004 between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, with a brief service at 7 p.m. Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2004 at 1 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland.
