Monica Ingram's Obituary
Monica Ingram was born to the late Veronica Eaglin on August 13, 1964 in Berkeley, California. She was the oldest of three children and the first born grandchild of 15 grandchildren. Monica was raised in Berkeley and attended Berkeley public schools, graduating from Berkeley High school in 1981. She began her professional career at the corporate offices of Williams- Sonoma, Inc. in San Francisco where she worked for over 11 years. It was there that she met her best friend and husband Mark Moreno in 1995. Mark and Monica were married in December 2003 in North Lake Tahoe. Monica later worked at TOA Electronics in South San Francisco for 5 years and the corporate offices of Bebe, Inc. in Brisbane. Monica was affectionately called “Monnie” by her family and “Bean” by Mark. She was an avid 49er and Giants fan, and also attended many football games at Archbishop Riordan High School in San Francisco where Mark coached football. Monica enjoyed reading, writing, and spending time with family. Monica departed this life on November 10, 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother Veronica Eaglin, Grandmother Mabel Eaglin, great-aunt Dorothy Eaglin and 2 uncles Oze Eaglin III and Abram Eaglin who was also her godfather. Monica leaves behind to cherish her memory: her husband Mark Moreno; two sisters Stacey Mayes (Michael) and Crystal Leftrict; her mother in law Joelle Moreno; her brother in law Christopher Moreno (Sharla); her niece Nikko Butler; nephews Erick & Elijah Linares and Joshua Hunter, as well as her aunt and godmother Claudine Marbury; her aunt Beverly Thomas (William); her aunt Brenda Eaglin; her aunt Gail Eaglin; her aunt Cynthia Eaglin and uncle Claude Eaglin as well as a host of cousins, extended family members and friends. Rosary: Tuesday, November 18th, 7pm. Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont, Ave, Oakland, CA. Funeral: Wednesday, November 19th, 11am. St. Columba Catholic Church, 6401 San Pablo Ave, Emeryville, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Archbishop Riordan High School, c/o Paul Moreno Memorial Scholarship, 175 Phelan Ave, SF, CA 94112, or a charity of your choice.
