Miu Chun "Daisy" Yeung's Obituary
On January 25th, 2015, Miu Chun “Daisy” Yeung passed away after a long and glorious life. She was a devoted mother and dedicated wife. Daisy was also a devout Catholic who regularly attended mass every Sunday.
She is survived by Wayman, her loving husband of 49 years, oldest son Patrick and girlfriend Sorn, youngest son Eric, sisters Miriam and Elizabeth, several nephews and nieces, and many other family members.
Daisy was born on November 3, 1932 in Hangkow, China to Chi Tsan Chen and Yau Hing Tong Chan. She graduated from high school in Macau, and from Grantham College in Hong Kong with a teaching degree. She taught at Precious Blood Primary School. Daisy was also certified and taught piano at Grade VIII (Final) level.
Daisy and Wayman were married on November 30, 1965, in Syracuse, NY. They settled in San Francisco where they raised their family.
She worked for 14 years with the San Francisco Unified School District.
Daisy will be missed dearly.
Her funeral service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA 94611 on Saturday February 7, 2015 at 1:00pm. Visitation will begin at 11:30am.
