Miles Robert Washington's Obituary
Miles Robert Washington was born on July 1, 1979 in San Francisco, California to Robert and Joyce Washington. He and his family moved to Oakland, California when he was one year old. He attended Grass Valley Elementary, Zion Lutheran School, Saint Mary's High School, Skyline High School and Saints Academy in Mississippi. After high school he attended Santa Monica City College for approximately one year and then enlisted in the Navy for two years. Miles recently decided to go back to school and enrolled at the Institute for Business and Technology where he excelled in his studies. His goal was to start his own business before he was thirty-five.Miles was a very loving and deeply spiritual person that obtained much comfort from reading the bible and writing poetry. He was looking for a church to call his own. Miles enriched all of our lives by his devotion to his family and his generosity to those he loved. His smile could literally warm an entire room and his hugs were heavenly. He leaves to cherish his memory: his twin sons Jaiden Miles and Chaise Xavier Washington and their mother Courtney Jackson of Oakland, California, his father Robert Washington, his mother Joyce Washington both of Oakland, California, his sister Paige Elizabeth Washington of San Leandro, California; his grandmother and grandfather Julie and Leland Sparks of Los Angeles, California; nine favorite uncles and aunts: Jessie Washington, Susan Gaunty, Samantha and Pete Andrada, Billy and Cheryl Washington, Donnie and Patricia Sparks, and Darryl Sparks, many cousins and extended family and an abundance of friends.
