Michelle Yvonne Hoffert's Obituary
Michelle Hoffert, 55, of Grass Valley, passed away on July 9th, 2023.
She was born in Hayward, CA on Decemeber 13th, 1967. Michelle graduated Vacaville High School and received 2 associate degrees from Sierra College. She lived in her hometown of Grass valley since 1994.
She was married to Michael Hoffert on April 15th, 1989. They had a son and daughter and she enjoyed being a mother and eventually a grandmother.
Michelle had worked in financial processing, medical billing, newspaper circulation management, as well as senior assistance care. Her later years were focused as a homemaker and caring for her family, children and granddaughter.
Michelle enjoyed her pets, having numerous cats and dogs. She had a softspot for stray animals and that generally would mean another mouth to feed. She enjoyed visiting her family and friends. Although Michelle had taken cruises and traveled to nearly all the states, her favorite place was Disneyland and she loved telling people she had property there (a stone in the walkway between parks).
She is survived by her daughter Shellby, her son Brandon, her granddaughter Faith, her sisters Renee and Tammi, her brothers Tyler and David, her mother Leah, her stepfather Ron, multiple cousins, neices, and nephews, and her husband Michael.
