Merry Sakamoto's Obituary
Merry T. Sakamoto, age
97, died peacefully in
her sleep at the Kotobuki
Services Care Home in
Union City.
Born in Salinas, CA,
February 19, 1920. She
was a longtime resident of
Oakland, CA, and was preceded
in death by her husband,
Zenichi.
Merry is survived by
a brother George, in
Boise, Idaho, a son Allen
(Esther) and two daughters,
Suzanne Yamada
(Minoru), Karen Sugiyama
(Osamu), five grandchildren
and eight great grandchildren. Services will be held
Thursday, May 25th at 2:00
pm at the Buddhist Temple
of Alameda, 2325 Pacific
Ave., Alameda, CA.
