Meredith Anne Norton's Obituary
Meredith Anne Norton Acclaimed author of Lopsided, a breast cancer memoir, died Friday, August 2, 2013 at home in Oakland after a long struggle with breast cancer. She was born January 10, 1970 in Berkeley, the younger daughter of John H. III and Eloise Edwards Norton, and was a graduate of The Bentley School, Berkeley High School and Columbia College in New York with an A.B. in Film Studies and creative writing. She is survived by her husband, Thibault J. Jousse; son, Lucas; sister, Angela; brother, Douglas (Ashante); parents, John and Eloise Norton; niece, Kendall; nephews, John Calvin, Michael Ray and Jackson; and many friends and acquaintances. A Memorial service will be held 11 AM, Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA 94611.
