Loving daughter of the late Concepcion Flores and father Natividad Flores from Mexico.Loving mother of Carlos Lara, Oscar Lara and Diana Ocampo Lara.Cherished mother-in-law of Lydia LaraMercedes was the last surviving sister of Jacqueline Logan, Bridget Cashen and Mary Helen RodriguezLoving Grandmother of four and Great-Grandmother of eightSurvived by nieces and nephews and loved by many good friendMercedes retired after 27 years of service with Peralta Community CollegesThanks for all you did for us Mom — you will always be loved and forever in our hearts, Rest in Peace.All are welcomed to the visitation at the Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm and attend funeral services on Wednesday , October 17, 2012 at 10:00am at Chapel of the Chimes.
