Matthew Kusske's Obituary
Matthew Kusske, 72, of Livermore, California passed away Thursday, August 1 surrounded by loved ones. He was born May 24, 1952 in Renton, Washington.
Matthew was a loving, generous, hardworking, passionate, and caring husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle. He enjoyed a successful career as a machinist and held a strong interest and curiosity in all things science, history, cars, culture, and the arts. He also loved his dogs throughout his life and cherished their companionship. Matt was known as a world traveler and enjoyed many wonderful and unforgettable vacation adventures with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Roxanne Kusske; Children, Andrew Kusske, Joseph Miner, Hannah Kusske, and daughter-in-law Nelly Kusske; Three grandchildren, Nathaniel Kusske, Nolan Kusske, and Ava Kusske; Three sisters, Theresa Kusske, Elizabeth Kusske, and Margaret Kusske; Two brothers, Victor Kusske and Pat Kusske.
Matt was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Dale Kusske and Catherine Kusske, and brother Christopher Kusske.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday, August 5 at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave, Oakland, CA 94611. All friends and loved ones are welcome to attend the service. Flowers and Memorials may be sent to Chapel of the Chimes.
