Sebastian, Mary Ellen – At rest in Walnut Creek on August 13, 2015; Beloved wife of John W. Sebatian of Oakland, CA; Loving father of Scott Sebastian of Houston, TX and the late Darcie Jones of Walnut Creek, CA; Dear sister of Jane Young of Atlanta, GA; dear grandmother of 4 grandchildren, Philip and Derek Jones and Jonathan and Matthew Sebastian; also survived by loving son-in-law Peter Jones of Walnut Creek; A native of Oakland, CA; Aged 90 years. A graduate of U.C. Berkeley and a member of Oakland Museum Womens Board for many years.
Private family services were held at Chapel of the Chimes, Oakland. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Oakland Art Museum or St. John’s Oakland Episcopal Church.
