Mary Jeanette Ridley's Obituary
Mary Jeanette Ridley, 74 years old of Oakland, California passed away peacefully at her home on August 25, 2014.
She was born on May 29, 1940 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to the proud parents of Samuel and Mabel Frazier. She was the youngest of three girls. Mary Jeanette was married to Wilbert Fulton Ridley. They relocated to Newark, New Jersey. In July 1969 she relocated to California. She worked for and retired from Pacific Bell. She was a dedicated and committed employee. Her parents, ex-husband and two sisters Reba Darlyne Dawson and Wilma Frazier- Bruce preceded her in death.
The Bible says the world is not our home. We are all looking forward to our everlasting home in Heaven. Mary Jeanette has gone home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Life on Earth is a temporary assignment. The Bible says we were born but yesterday. Our days on Earth are as transit as a shadow. Mary Jeanette will be greatly missed by those she loved and those who loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory five loving children: Kimberly Jan Jackson, Kevin Wilbert (Patricia) Ridley, Karen Janell (Oliver) Ridley, Kelly Janiece Cameron and Daniel Woods. She also leaves three granddaughters: Janelle Cameron, Anansa Ridley and Jennifer Ridley and one great granddaughter Kayla Belvine and a host of nephews, cousins, and other relatives and many dear friends.
