Mary Ramponi passed away peacefully on June 8, 2014 at the age of 78 from Parkinson’s Disease. Born on February 13, 1936 in Texas to the late Howard and Blanche Triplett. She is survived by her loving husband George Ramponi of almost 56 years and their children Marlin Ramponi, Gary Ramponi, Gina Nearhood and son-in-law Ryan Nearhood. She is also survived by her grandsons Joshua Ramponi, Rollie Nearhood and Rocco Nearhood as well as her brother, Howard Triplett Jr., and a large extended family that she was proud of and loved very much.
She had a life-long love of sewing for her family. Once her children were grown, she returned to work as a professional seamstress. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She always loved having a house full of people and her childrens’ friends were always welcomed. She was a kind, loving woman who is missed very much.
Services will be Wednesday, June 18th at 11:00am. Chapel of the Chimes Oakland 4499 Piedmont Ave. Oakland 94611.
