Mary Macario, Peacefully at home in Albany, January 23, 2002. Wife of the late Mike Macario. Sister of the late Lena Audo and Richard Stellina. Also survived by her Devoted nephew, Leonard Audo and son Vincent, Richard Stellina and niece Marie Ciraulo. 68 year resident of Berkeley. Aged 93 years. She owned and operated W&S Club and Mike & Mary’s Bar. A pioneer in her business having been one of the first women bar owners in the state. Member of the Fratellanza Women social club. Mary enjoyed and loved being with her customers until her last days. Friends and family are invited to attend a Vigil Service at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave. Oakland on Tuesday January 29, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. Entombment Wednesday 30, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Mausoleum.
